Hartford Court, Stone Cote Vineyard Chardonnay Vintage:2019 The exceptional expressiveness of so 101926920220600750 The exceptional expressiveness of so many of these wines – even if Olivier Humbrecht admits that “they aren’t always perfectly precise or pure” – is surely in large part a tribute to vineyard management that permitted such a substantial portion of so large a crop to be picked unusually early the underlying material is quite good so this tightly wound effort could very well develop enough depth to be at the next level The 2019 Chardonnay Stone Côte Vineyard is quite delicate with a lovely mix of floral accents and the more mineral signatures that are so typical of this site
